HighRely’s engineers provide engineering augmentation and outsourcing for all phases of avionics development, plus training in DO-254 and DO178B.
HighRely Incorporated has performed more DO-178B and DO-254 Gap Analysis than all other companies in the world combined. HighRely’s JumpCert package includes a detailed onsite DO-178 or DO-254 assessment to improve your DO178 and DO254 processes. HighRely’s proprietary D0-178 and D0-254 Gap Analysis analyzes the gaps in your DO-254 or DO-178 process and optimally closes those gaps. All clients have reported cost-savings far exceeding the nominal cost of HighRely’s avionics software/hardware gap analysis.
HighRely’s DO-178 and DO-254 Gap Analysis experts use proprietary processes to improve your DO-178 and DO-254 efficiency and reduce your avionics hardware/software development costs. HighRely also has a free whitepaper to assist you with doing your own free DO-178/DO-254 Gap Analysis. Contact HighRely at info-at-highrely-dot-com for more information.
Client Feedback:I’d just like to put a good word in for Tony and Charles – the training session they conducted at our facility was top-notch and the gap assessment report was detailed yet very easy to read. The guys delivered exactly what
we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend your organization to anyone requiring this type of training or consulting.A.G, Software Engineering Team Leader, Goodrich Corporation,
Our DO-254 Services includes:
DO-254 Safety Assessment Process
There are three system safety assessment processes: functional hazard assessment (FHA), preliminary system safety assessment (PSSA) and SSA.
DO-254 Hardware Planning Process
The purpose of the hardware planning process is to define the means by which the functional and airworthiness requirements are converted into a hardware item with an acceptable amount of evidence of assurance that the item will safely perform its intended functions. This process starts with development of PHAC (Plan for Hardware Aspects of Certification).
DO-254 Architecture Planning & Development
Given the safety, functional and performance requirements allocated to the hardware by the system process, the hardware safety assessment determines the hardware design assurance level for each function and contributes to determining the appropriate design assurance strategies to be used.
DO-254 Requirements
The requirements capture process identifies and records the hardware item requirements.
DO-254 Hardware Conceptual Design
The conceptual design process produces a high-level design concept that may be assessed to determine the potential for the resulting design implementation to meet the requirements.
DO-254 Hardware Detailed Design
The detailed design process produces detailed design data using the hardware item requirements and conceptual design data as the basis for the detailed design.
